Thousands of people have had amazing results using our products and methods and we have no doubt that you too will experience the same. It's no secret that dreads are not "instant", they require work and patience.
So how can we guarantee that you'll do the work? We can't, that part is up to you, but we can check up on your progress and help you out if you need it. Most people have dreads that they adore after about 90 days, if they don't it's usually because of a simple oversight like improper maintenance or a poor start. So what we do is have you check in with us and send us a picture of your dreads right after you start them and then again after 90 days if they are not dreading.
We will gather info from you about your maintenance routine and recommend any changes you might need to make. Then, if after an additional 60 days of corrective maintenance, they are still not locking we will refund all your money, even up to $6.00 for basic shipping! Check out the Terms of our Guarantee for directions on how to receive your guarantee number and check in with us about the progress of your dreads.
The terms of our guarantee enable us to keep track of the progress of your dreads so that we can better advise if advice is needed. They also prevent someone from changing their mind and pretending to "do the work" while we pull out our dreads trying to figure out why their hair won't lock.
Rules of the Guarantee:
1. You must only use our products on your dreads. If you feel the need to use something else please ask us in advance.
2. You must maintain your dreads in a manner consistent with what we have recommended on this site.
3. You must get a guarantee number and update us as to the progress of your dreads as directed bellow and on the following page:
A. Before you dread your hair take a before picture showing the length and texture of your hair. After you dread your hair take the three pictures described under "How to take pictures" on the right side of this page. Please include your Order Number, Name, Address, Phone number, Email and Hair Length with the pictures.
To get your guarantee number please fill out this form. After you fill out the form we will send you a guarantee number. Please include this number when you send us your pictures. If you are sending an email make the subject "Guarantee number"
B. If your hair is not dreading 90 days from when you receive your guarantee number, mail or email us a new set of the 3 pictures as described to the right. You can fill out this form to contact us. We will contact you to talk to you about your dreads. We will offer you personalized advice, and a corrective maintenance routine which will get your dreads on track.
C. If your dreads have not locked within 90 days of talking to us and following this new routine call us and let us know. We will credit you back for your kit and up to $6.00 in basic shipping charges. We cannot credit back extra air shipping or foreign shipping costs.
D. Although we don't anticipate any changes the terms of this agreement are subject to change at our discretion. If any changes are made we will email everyone with an eligible guarantee number.
All pictures should always be taken and sent in groups:
1. A close up, detailing the roots of the dreads. Good lighting is key. If we can't see the individual hairs the picture won't help. This one is very important.
2. A picture of the back of the dreads. Take it as close as possible without cropping off any dreads. With longer dreads take it on it's side to show the length.
3. A picture of the front of the dreads. Take it as close as possible without cropping off any dreads. Most important...smile big : )
4. When you send your pictures to get your guarantee number include a before picture showing the length and texture of your hair before you dreaded it.
