What do I do about sideburns or the hair at the nape of my neck?

I usually roll everything that reaches into a dread ball and stick it in the nearest dread. You can trim it too, be careful when trimming though, when it grows you have to trim it again and again and it's easy to miss and end up shaving some hairs off at the root of one of your near by dreads... I guess it's good to avoid trimming whenever you can, but in some cases you kinda have to or you'll look like the wolf man. No offense to the wolf man.
